How to generate a color palette
Generate Palette builds painting-ready color sets from an uploaded image or from a seed color with harmony rules. Adjust the result, copy HEX values, or save the palette to My Palettes.
Sign in, then open Virtual Artist Lab → Generate Palette.
How to generate a palette
- Start from a seed color and harmony rule, or upload an image to extract colors.
- Choose how many colors you want.
- Click Regenerate palette after changing settings.
- Fine-tune with adjustment sliders, edit individual swatches, then copy HEX codes or save the palette.
Tips
- Image colors only is best when you want to match an existing photo or artwork.
- Complementary and triadic harmonies create more contrast than analogous or monochromatic sets.
- Use Merge Similar when extraction returns too many near-duplicate colors.
- Saved palettes count toward your My Palettes plan limit.
Generate Palette does not use credits.
