How to manage palettes in Virtual Artist Lab

My Palettes is your personal color palette hub in Virtual Artist Lab. Create, import, edit, export, and reuse palettes across VAL tools and paint-by-numbers workflows.

Sign in, then open Virtual Artist Lab → My Palettes.

What you can do

  • Create a new palette and add colors manually
  • Import a palette from CSV or XLSX
  • Edit color names, codes, and values
  • Export in formats available for your plan
  • Use saved palettes in other VAL tools and (on eligible plans) paint by numbers

Plan limits

  • How many palettes you can store depends on your plan (free and paid tiers have different limits).
  • Premium export formats such as PDF, Procreate swatches, and image exports require a paid plan.
  • Free export options are more limited.

Tips

  • Palette names must be unique in your account.
  • Brand palettes are read-only — copy colors into a personal palette to edit or export them.
  • Very large palettes may not support every export format.
  • Deleted palettes cannot be recovered from the interface.

My Palettes and other Virtual Artist Lab tools do not consume credits.
